Dates announced for the Carlsberg Comedy Carnival

From the 22nd to the 25th of July 2010, the Carlsberg Comedy Carnival arrives on the streets of Dublin.

This year's event has an amazing line-up from the world's leading comedians, including both homegrown and international talents. But that isn't the only thing this fantastic event has to offer, as well as comedy shows, expect performance artists and musicians to feature too, keeping you entertained between events. Between shows, the audience can expect to enjoy a gastronomically delicious array of food and drink.

Entry to each show is purchased individually, and tickets are fantastic value. Additionally, the tickets purchased for the comedy shows also double up as entry to the carnival entertainment for that day, with allocated picnic areas and entry to the Carlsberg Deck and the Carlsberg "C" lounge.
Amongst the line up of international stars, the Carlsberg Comedy Carnival boasts the legendary Phil Jupitus, of "Never Mind the Buzzcocks" fame from England. American comedians also feature, including Bo Burnham (who you may remember was a great hit for the Carlsberg Comedy Carnival of 2009 - if you were lucky enough to have experienced the festival), Arj Barker, protagonist of the "Flight of the Conchords", Emo Phillips who has been championed by the likes of Jay Leno as one of the greatest joke writers of his generation, and one of our favourites, Reginald D. Hunter, a frequent contestant on the excellent comedy quiz show "Mock The Week".

From "8 Out of 10 Cars", Jason Mannford is set to make an appearance, certainly one of the funniest men around at the moment. Leader of the Blue Team in the TV series "Argumental", Rufus Hound will also have a set. As well as some of Irelands greatest home grown talents, including Ardal O'Hanlon and Colin Murphy, Ed Byrne, Dead Cat Bounce, Maeve Higgins, David O'Doherty, Neil Delamere.

As you can probably tell from the line-up, this is an extremely popular event, meaning that amenities will be in hot-demand, make sure you are not disappointed and book your car rental in Ireland before you arrive, as well as your hotel and other holiday requirements.
