Workman of Larne

I am looking for siblings of Nancy(Nanny) WORKMAN born 1811, Antiville, Larne. I have one possibility John born abt 1801. Her parents were Thomas(James) Workman and Mary. Mary died summer 1847 can't find her burried in Larne. Thomas was still alive 1851.

Workman of Larne

Hello Sally,

I wonder if some of the Larne people with the Workman surname who lived in the town in 1861-2 when Griffiths Valuation took place in Co. Antrim are related to you? http://www.failteromhat.com/griffiths.php

Best Wishes,

Christopher

If you go to the freepages section of ulsterancestry.com you will find some workman families in the 1851 census of Larne. Good Luck.

Workmans of Larne

Lots of details on www.familysearch.org re Workmans of Larne.U will find Nancy's marriage to a Samuel Snoddy there plus a list of their children, also details of a John Workman born 1801 at Ballyloran Larne, (Ballyloran and Antiville near each other) plus his marriage details. I have Workmans from Magheramourne, Larne in my family tree but havent started researching them yet.
