i am trying to trace my grandfather and family
Peter Callan or Callahan born 02/04/1919 in Co Armagh.
i believe he was born in a workhouse in Armagh and was the youngest of 6. he said his mother died when he was born.
he left ireland aged 14 (ran away) 1933 and came to England. he ripped all details from his birth cert and added O' and poss gh to make the surname O'Callaghan.

any help would be appreciated.
