CARSON researching request

My gg grandfather was Samuel Carson, married to Ann Trotter. According to our records h he was born May 11, 1824 in Armagh. He came to Canada in the mid-1800's shortly aftering marrying. He appears to have been accompanied by his wife, 2 of his brothers - David and Dickson, and perhaps his parents (names may be William- maybe born in Leitrim and Ann - maybe born in Fermanagh). I am desperately trying to find out more about 1) any siblings and 2) of course, their ancestry. Someone once said they thought the family originated in Drumcree but we have no validation for this.

Any help or suggestions would be tremendously appreciated. There are many of us in North America who are researching this name and are probably linked if I could just get this bit of information.

CARSON FAMILY HISTORY

Don't know if I am any relation to you, but my Gt.Gt Grandmother was Maria Carson. She was born in Armagh in 1827. Her father was Thomas Carson and he was a Joiner. I seem to have a hit brick wall there. Could Thomas have been a brother of Samuel. Any info you could let me have would be much appreciated.
