McGinlay/Collins Dunfanaghy
Looking for info on Charles McGinlay, born 1840s in Donegal and Jane Collins (born 1846/7) whom he married.
Their first child, Letitia, was born in Dunfanaghy, so I assume both families were from around this area.
Jane's parents were Neil Collins (b. 1827/8) and Mary Stretch (also b.1827/8)
Charles and Jane moved to Glasgow, Scotland, in the 1860s where they had my gg-grandmother Mary Ann.
Neil and Mary Collins, Jane's parents, also came to Glasgow as did another son of theirs (i.e. Jane's brother) so presumably there's quite a few descendants still in the area.
Charles is my main focus as he disappears in the Scottish records and I've had no luck with the Irish records so I know nothing more about him.
