The Corbett Family Of Co Galway.

I first located my Galway ancestors on the 1871 Census in Blackburn Lancashire. They are not on the 1861 Census so I imagine they came between these two dates.
The family consisted of:
Mary Corbett-Widow (b1815)Roscommon.
Cecilia Corbett(b1848)Galway.
Bridget Corbett(b1852)Galway.
John Corbett(b1857)Galway.
There may have been older children who did not live at home.
From my Grandfather John's Marriage Certificate I know his father was John Corbett; a farmer.
As Mary Corbett was born in Roscmommon I imagine that my Corbett family lived very near Roscommon.
Griffith's Valuation shows a John Corbett living in the Civil Parish of Kilbegnet; in the Townland of Park. I understand that this is very near Roscommon. But I have no way of knowing if this is him.
I am hoping that some of the Corbett's out there can find a match with some of their relatives.
Regards: Cecilia

Corbett

Hello I have lots of Corbett's in my family tree but I think they came from Tipperary. In 1841 Micheal Corbett arrived on the "Lysander" to Melbourne Australia with his sister Biddy, but I am finding it hard to find out much prior to that. Roma Joyce

My Corbett's all come from the Clifden area. Any connection?
