Dennison or Denison Family
Hi all,
I'm trying to trace Dennisons that came to England in mid to late 1800's. All we know is that the parents are called Mary and James Denison (or Dennison) who were both born around 1849 somewhere in Ireland. They appear on the 1881 England Census and must've come over no later than 1871. Any ideas on where to start to narrow down the list that I've already managed to get from here (a number of James and Davids - another strong name link within the family, in various counties in Ireland)would be greatly appreciated.

Dennison/Denison
Hi Victoria,
I`m currently looking at the Dennison family to which I am related by marriage (my mother`s sister married William Dennison). William`s father was also William (birth registered as Denison Q4 1878 Leek 6b 286.) This William was one of the ten children of James and Mary Dennison both born c1849. Mary might have been Mary Welch - parents John (b1824) and Catherine (b1825), both born in Ireland.
