griffiths valuation info
Hello Patrick and Fintan,
The Ulster, Irish and Local Studies of the five boards of the NI Libraries should be able to assist with look ups for Griffith's Valuations.

If you use John Hayes failteromhat.com site it also has the Valuations and you can check each county for the year which the Valuation took place.
There are also the Annual Valuation Revision Books from the time that the Valuation ended in 1864 to about 1930. These should help you establish if a family emigrated or if the head of the house died. Unfortunately these books are not online.
