Burton/Gorman

I am researching the family of my grandmother Mary Ann Burton who was born 1872 in Barrack Street, Dundalk. Her parents were Thomas Burton (a mariner) and Jane Gorman.
I believe there were two other children, Thomas born 1871 and Margaret born in 1881.
I have just found an Anne Gorman in Barrack St. in the Griffiths Valuation and wonder if she could be Jane's mother.
I am unable to find any other facts except that Mary Ann married a soldier, Frederick Thomas about 1894. Any info would be very much appreciated.
