Sherlock Family

Terrance Sherlock came to England with his wife Ann Macdonald in about 1850 settled in the North East of England Gateshead.
His father was Thomas Shrlock from Christianstown Darver Co.Louth.
Does anyone know anything about this family or if there are Sherlocks still living in the County
I would be grateful for any information or help
