Searching for Geoghans?
Hi
I have left an appeal for info on the Galway board, thinking that this was where my gt grandfather STEPHEN GEOGHAN came from, however, I could not find any Geoghans for that area on the Griffiths index, but did so for this county.
I am now wondering if gt grandfather gave the incorrect info on the census.
Can anyone help please?
I am searching for any family who could have been connected to Lawrence or Stephen Geoghan, they were both Master Tailors.
If anyone could help I would be so grateful, I have been searching for some years without success.
