Hannam

My GGMother, Winifred Hannam was born in Bolton, Lancashire in 1871. She was the daughter of Patrick and Ellen. Patrick was a stonemason and born in Sligo around 1841. Ellen was born in Sligo around 1842. The Irish Times web site suggests Hannam was not a common name in the 1850s in Ireland, with only two families listed in Sligo. Griffiths valuation records show a Thomas and James Hannam at Knocknakillew Parish of Cloonoghil. These may be brothers or father and son. One of them may be Patrick's father. Has anyone got any information?
Thank you.

HANNAM

Hi Sarah,
I am following the Longworth clan. At the moment I am researching William Longworth B:1834. He married Ann Hannam in Blackburn in 1860. Ann's father was John Hannam, I am not sure if John was also known as Patrick as a Patrick Hannan and Mary Hannan are on the 1871 census living with there Grandson Thomas Longworth, William and Ann's son.

This may be a link to your Bolton line

Have you come across the Longworth's?
