He was born around 1845ish and married Ellen Colclough in Portlaw,Co Waterford. Have discovered an intriguing ref. to a John Callaghan, bootmaker born in Carrick around 1840 in an english workhouse pauper inmate list.This is not far from where his children moved to(Derbyshire) so need to confirm/eliminate him. |
