My grandfather's grandfather was Thomas McCormack, born in Tyrone c 1828. He subsequently left Ireland for Scotland and married in Ayrshire in 1852. I have been able to fully chronicle my descent from there. Thomas's parents were Peter McCormack born c1802 and Catherine (surname unknown) born c 1806, both in Tyrone. |
