Bolger's of Wexford

Interested in information obout my gggrandfather, Paul Bolger who was born about 1822 in Co. Killkenny or Co. Wexford, Ireland. Immigrated to the US before 1850 when first child was born.. Married Mary Fitzharris (~1826-1885), also from Ireland. They settled in the New York city area and had six children: Anna L. b.~1850, Mary Catherine b.~1852, Peter b.~1854, Lawrence b.~1857, Edward Thomas b. March 1856 and Elizabeth b. 1856. Interested in anything about his parents and the family.

Irish naming conventions would indicate Paul’s father would have the same first name as his oldest son (Peter). I found three Peter Bolgers in Griffiths Valuations in the following

Townland Civil Parish(Pg 168) Est. Catholic Parish(Pg 171)

Gorey Wexford St. Parish of Kilmakilloge (#71) Gorey(#26)

Ballyhealy North Kilturk (#88) Kilmore (30)

Woodtown Rosslare(#015) Tagoat(46)

However Paul and Mary Bolger did not follow the naming conventions when their 3ed boy and girl were not named after them.
