Thursday 13 December 2007 2:21:48 am Lawless familyI am searching for any information on my g,g,g grandfather Arcibald Lawless. According to info on his childrens marriage certs he was either a coastguard or customs and excise officer in Wicklow in mid - 1800's. Wife Maria and children Mary (Thompson), Christopher, James and Arcibald all seem to have left Ireland circa 1869. Maria was apparrently a widow by this time. I have periodically looked for the last four years for anything at all on him and can find nothing....it's like he never existed....so any help at all would be really appreciated.
