I'm trying to find information on a Rose Morris. I think this is her maiden name, not sure. She apparently died in the Armagh workhouse not long after her son William was born. She was born around 1976. My grandfather, William (Willie), was adopted by a family, Mallon from Tullygoonigan. William's father's name was apparently William Monaghan. I'm not sure how true all this is as I'm having a great deal of trouble tracking Rose down. The only part I know for sure is that the Mallons adopted William as my father has visited them and cofirmed this part of the story. Any information would be greatly appreciated. |
