Griffiths valuation search

This is my first time on this site and I searched for my GG Grandfather Michael Condon that I think came from Cork. It came up with quite a few names. What do I do from here to go deeper? And is it like a census report where it lists the rest of the family?
Thanks

Griffith's Valuation for Diane

Griffith's Valuation is a record of taxes or tithes paid to the English government by each land owner or tenant. Many census records were destroyed in the 1800's so Griffith's Valuation is used to find ancestors in Ireland.
I haven't looked for Griffith's yet, but I imagine you could find it in the library. It might just give you a microfilm number.
