Donnelly's of Dungloe
I am looking for information on the Donnelly family from Dungloe, Co. Donegal.
My great grandfather was called William (born 1876) His parent's were Patrick and Anne/Annie Donnelly nee Campbell.
There were other sibling's :
Connell (b. 1868)
Daniel (b.1875)
Ellen (b. 1879)
Catherine (b.1873)
Mary (b.1871)
John (b.1881)
Bridget (b.1889)
Patrick (b.1872)
Anne (b.1869)
The only other information I have on the Donnelly family is that Ann married a John Sharkey. They has (at least) 2 children, Peter (b.1902) and Annie (b.1911). I have been told Annie died in infancy.
Also one of the sibling's adopted a child called Dermot. I don't know who it was though.
William moved to Scotland and married a Rose Ann Kane. They had 4 children Patrick, Elizabeth, Daniel and Francis.
Any information would be wonderful.
