Mary O'Gallivan

My mum was adopted and is now 72.
She was called Mary Louise Backhouse after adoption. Her roots we believe are from Kerry and the name O'Gallivan has been mentioned.

Do you know where in Co.Kerry?
My gt.gt.grandmother was Katie O'GALLIVAN and they lived in Brackaharah townland, Caherdaniel.

O'Gallivan of Brackahargh

In my family I have Patrick Gallivan who married Catherine Dwyer of Caherdaniel about 1832. Two of their children born in Brackahargh were Brigid, born 1843, and Timothy, born 1852. It's probably the same family.
