Roscommon (county)
Hello, I am trying to find information about my great-great grandparents. Luke and Ann Murray are buried in East Greenwich, Rhode Island USA in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Their headstone states that they were natives of Co. Roscommon Ireland. I know that they had chidlren born in New York, Ohio, and Rhode Island. My great-grandfather was John Henry Murray. They all ended up in East Greenwich Rhode Ireland. I am trying to find out more about our Ireish heritage and what Luke and Ann's lives were like in Ireland. Any Information would be greatly appreciated.
My Great grandfather John was born in 1853, so Luke and Ann had to immigrate to the United States before his birth.
