Hi, I am looking for Furlong ancestors who immigrated to the US in early 1860s.I have (two brothers?) Henry and Patt on the boat Princeton arriving in New York. One went to the Des Moines Iowa US area and the other may have settled in Chicago. I am related to the one who settled in Iowa. I have much information for the US but have just begun my search for Ireland data. I have checked Griffiths Valuation and there are two Henry Furlong one in Ballina Upper and the other in Ballina Lower. I am trying to figure out where to go from here? Any help or information would be appreciated. Thanks

I am searching for my gggrandfather Patrick Furlong. He was born abt.1811 in Wexford. Think his father's name might be Micheal. He at some point immgrated to Canada. Married Bridget Doyle who is from Wexford as well. They were Roman Catholic. Dates are not confirmed. Any help would be so much appreciated!!
I am looking for info related to my great grandparents, James and Ellen (Prendergast) Furlong. They were married sometime in the early 1800's and had 5 children that we know of; James (my great grandfather), Kieran, Anastaia, Eleanor, and Edmund. They raised their children in The Rower, Co. Kilkenny.
