Trying to find exactly where in Co. Cork my great,great grandfather John Clancy came from he was a farmer & married to Ellen Barry. I only know of one son born in Co.Cork(from marriage Certificate) Thomas Clancy for certain may be another by the name of Patrick,
Thomas and Patrick emigrated to Australia, leaving Liverpool UK in October 1857 and arriving Sydney January 1858 on board the "Peter Maxwell". Thomas was 19, Patrick was 17. Thomas married a Margaret Hayes in Ballarat Victoria Australia in 1872
