Hello from Canada
I am researching my Irish roots. My great great grandparents were born in Ireland. John Hamilton was born in 1826 and he married Douglas Manson who was born in 1825. They were married in 1845 at Newtownards, County Down, N. Ireland. Their first clild, Elizabeth, was born in Ireland about 1847. Shortly after they moved to Scotland. John Hamiltons parents were John Hamilton and Charlotte ???? and Douglas Mansons parents were Thomas Manson and Elizabeth McGowan. I also believe my great great grandparents on my dads side came from Ireland. Their names were John Burke ( born about 1810 ) and Mariah Thomas.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
