Have since found another two children from this Marriage.

Mary Josephine McAdam, born 8th Sept 1929 (not registered until 1943) & Nuala Anne McAdam, born 28th Novermber 1941.

I have also got the Birth Cert for their Father Joseph James McAdam who was born in Ballygawley, Co Tyrone on 11th November 1897. His father Joseph McAdam was a Police Officer serving in Co Tyrone at the time.

As per original message, if anyone can help me make contact with any descendants of this family I'd be very grateful

I have met with some siblings but I am by no means an expert on that side of the family - in actual fact its her ancestors that I have researched rather than info on her siblings and family since.

Her Father was my Dad's 1st Cousin and the two wings of the family lost touch but I have details of her Father, Aunts & Uncles and the generation before that who ended up in Co Tyrone although Joseph McAdam Mary Josephine's Grandfather) was born in Co Cavan in the house that I grew up in and his wife was Giboney from Fintona area of Co Tyrone. They were married in what is now known as Creevan Presbyterian Church.

Where are you located? I am in Bedfordshire

I have been following your posts closely on a couple of other forums, but this is the first forum I have found where you delved down as far as Mary J McAdam. Thank you for your exhaustive work there, as it has also helped my family understand a little of the McAdam connection.

We are hoping to gain some knowledge of her and her brothers and sisters (maybe contact details if possible). We are curious to know whom she married. I see there was a marriage in Rathdown Co. Dublin in 1953, would you have details of whom she married? Would you know if she is still alive?

I am from N.Ireland myself and the entire family is still there. I myself live in Germany at the moment, so unable to get down to Dublin or PRONI in Belfast to inspect marriage certificates and other records they have.

I have put up a family tree online, but it only contains a few generations so far and is blocked at Mary J McAdams. I suspect she may have migrated to the US, as per her aunts and grandmother. At this stage though, I just don't know whom she married and if she is still alive, or even what the contact details are of her siblings.
