I hope that someone can help me locate my Irish Ancestors.
The information i have is for a John McDermott, born Dublin and married a lady called Emma.
In the UK census of 1901 Emma is living with one of her sons and is hown with the age of 59.
In the 1891 census John McDermott is shown with the age of 50 and Emma with age of 42.
I am unable to locate either of them in the 1881 census; or their children.
I think I have found them in the 1871 census. John is now aged 40? and Emma 37?
I think they may have married in Ireland before moving to the Durham region of England.
If anone can help I would be very, very grateful.
