Patrick Mahon was from the Grange / New Inn area in east Galway. Born in 1837 to Martin Mahon and Bridget Duane, he had several older sisters. He married Mary Ann Murray of Galway in Kensington London in 1867. They brought their 2 children to Brooklyn NY in 1869.
