Hi: Looking for info on John Doherty? 1, born around 1801. He had a son John Doherty? 2, born around 1839 .John 2 was around 9 when they came to Canada. They had other relatives who went to the United States. I can't seem to find any info on John 1. John 2 was married twice in Canada and had five children with Elizabeth Bailey and had 8 or 9 children . with Ann Jane Adams. John 1 could have had more children but not sure . They were suppose to have came from Donegal. I'm presuming that is the county.
