According to a marriage certificate copy, my 2nd Great Grandmother, Eliza Wright married Thomas Philpott in Mersham, Kent, England on 12 Oct 1874. The certificate shows that Eliza's father was Richard Wright, a tailor. English Census records tell me that Eliza was born in Ireland (no town or County specified) in about 1850. Does anyone have any other information on this family, in particular the name of Eliza's mother?
