Hi, I'm trying to trace any information on my great-great-uncle John Cooke. He was born in Mountrath,Laois (Queens County) C.1858, the son of Martin and Mary Cooke nee Lanigan. He joined the 7th Dragoon Guards and all I know is that he went to Cairo with the Regiment 1908. He may have emigrated to America. I would be grateful for any information about him.
