My great grandfather was James Carroll of Kilmallock, Ireland.
baptised on 5 Sep 1876 Kilmallock, Limerick.
His father was also named James Carroll and his mother's name was Kate. That is according to his baptism certificate on Roots Ireland.
The month and year and location check out, Father's name checks out. Mother's first name checks out. I cannot read the old style of writing for NYC on his death certificate for his mother's maiden name.
Does anyone where I could get ahold of for his actual birth certificate-which should hold all the needed info on his mother's maiden name?
