hello,
i am a stacey from salop and am tracing my family name i am just wondering if there are stacey's in meath.
stacey is from fitz-eustace and de laci...
apparently the castle of trim was built by a de laci. possibly my ancestor if anyone knows of any info re this family in meath i would be interested.
hopefully we (i say that loosely as i dont have proof) werent 2 unpopular.
legend has it a maurice fitz-gerald saved a de laci a long time ago.
