My friend is going over to Ireland shortly - I will tell him about the Glendalough cemetery
as he believes that he has Byrnes in his tree too .
I shall be going ,too, at some stage, so hopefully between us we will find something.

I have only just joined so am years behind here, but I think I can help. I am researching the Farrell of Killaveny and your Winifred is the clue... John Farrell m Winifred Manon in the 1770s and had nine known children:
Peter b 1780 m Catherine Carey
John b 1782 m Catherine Keresan /Kerevan
Ann m John Lacey
Michael m Mary Kavenagh
Mary m Daniel Nowlan
Thomas
William
Winifred (poss b 1798, poss m Robert Kerwin)
Eleanor m Patrick Doyle
I think I am related to this clan, but yet to prove this
The name Lawrence Farrell also appears in the Killaveny records (Lawrence b 1825 to Lawrence and Margaret her Byrne
