GALLOWAY, MAGEE and O'HARA of Newry
Hello - my grandfather, James Gerald Newbold GALLOWAY, was born at Catherine St, Newry in 1892. He was the son of William GALLOWAY, a tailor, and Katie/Catherine MAGEE. He had a brother called William, but I don't know when William was born. William went to live with his Uncle James at Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland. There may have been other siblings.
Catherine MAGEE was born at Cowan Street, Newry, in 1865, the daughter of Alexander MAGEE, carpenter, and Catherine O'HARA.
She had a brother called John, born 1867. She also had a brother, Alexander, born
1869.
I would love to make contact with other descendants of the MAGEEs and GALLOWAYs.

John Magee
Not at all sure if this connection is right but my great-grandfather was called John Magee from County Antrim.
He had 6 or 7 children (Kate, Bessie, Nelly, Maggie, Jack, Jeannie and possibly another boy). My grandmother, Jeannie was born in 1885 in Killead to John Magee and Elizabeth Magee (McIlroy)
