John Lewie b.1851 was married to Sarah Weir b. 1857 in Ireland had 8 children and came to the US. The house is no longer there but as late as the 1970's A niece and Nephew were still living there (margaret and james) another niece Elixabeth (Wilson) was in Lurgan until the 1970's. We believe his parents were John and Mary. His wifes parents were Thomas Weir and Sarah Stevenson of killycomain, a stones throw away. But we know nothing of the Stevensons. We only assume that the lewies were orriginally french hugonots that came during the Plantation period through Wales.
