ORR's/ARMAGH
Hello List,

I am new to this list so hope I am doing the right thing.I have been researching the ORR's in Armagh for a long time and have been able to get quite a lot on them considering things got destroyed in fires etc.I have several things I would like to ask about so will start with the following.

I have a MARY ORR in the griffith's valuation 1860 (am told this is 1861). She is living on the land belonging to a DAVID HILL. This is in the parish of Mullabrack, Ballygoobany. My query is how does one find out how old she might have been and if Im not being greedy if there is death registered for her in any cemeteries around this area. She is obviously on her own and if she is my Mary Orr her husband William has died already. Is there a way of tracking Mary say through census or other records that may tell me if she is still on the property say five or ten years further on. I am trying to get any little crumb on her that may tell me she is the right one. I can say if it is helpful, if she is mine she married a William Orr around 1810 and her maiden name was QUIN.

Anything at all that that might help tell me if she is mine is much appreciated. Thank you

Carol Orr/NZ
