REILLY
Can anyone give me any information about John Reilly who lived in Armagh City? This family owned a shoe factory in Armagh. John Sr. was born circa 1854 and John Jr. was born August 10, 1874.

Re: REILLY
Hi there,

I can help in some ways. I looked at the Griffith's Valuation and there are 2 John Reilly's in Armagh city who are merchants. I found a will where John Reilly's possessions went to Elizabeth, his wife on Abbey Street. He died on 1 May 1898 and they were Methodist in faith. There is an Elizabeth Reilly in Armagh city in the 1901 census.

Is any of this your family??

My Reilly family came from Tivnacree, just south of Keady town, southwest of Armagh city.
