I am searching for my ancestors who were Thomas Vannart who was married to Rose Ann Keenan in Drumcree on 17th Dec 1850.
They moved to Scotland between 1861 and 1871 but we cannot find anything regarding their past in Ireland. From moving to Scotland we are fine with our research but it is their parents and /or their birth certificates/marriage certs we are totally stuck at
We know Thomas's parents were called John Vannart and Elizabeth Jeffers prev Harley
Rose Ann's parents were James Keenan who was a Draper's porter and Catherine Lennon
We know nothing about either set of parents apart from John Vannart being listed as a soldier on Thomas's death cert.
We have come across the name spelled on censuses and certificates as Vennart, Vannart, Vennard and Vennad which is why we are getting stuck.
Any help would be most gratefully received
