I am looking for the parents of my Great Grandfather Thomas McManus from Lissanymore or Ballyjamesduff County Cavanwith his brother Patrick and sister Mary and Ellen went to Australia in the late 1850's. Thomas and his new wife Harriet came back to Cavan Ireland where they had 5 children and returned to Queensland Australia in 1875. Looking for connections of Thomas and Ellen McManus

My Great grandfather, his brothers Patrick and Henry? along with their sisters Mary, Ellen and Ann arrived in South Australia during the 1850's. We have traced and made connections with the families of Patrick, Mary and Ann and of course our own Thomas.
We have found the death record of Henry who died soon after their arrival in Australia and be think we have Ellen.
We would really like to know more about the extended family of Thomas and Ellen in Ireland.
We live in New Zealand, but do travel regually to Australia and have really enjoyed meeting up with extended family on our trips. This year is our Grandparents 100th wedding anniversary and we are having a get together in Dunedin over the weekend of 7th/8th November.
My Grandfather was the son of Thomas and Harriet McManus and born in Ireland in 1875 just prior to the family returning to Queensland.
