Donegal (county)
Looking for any info re g/grandparents Michael Doherty and Sarah Ann Patton born c1847 and c1848 Donegal. They married RC chapel Stranorlar 1872 at the time he residing Ballynaglack she Curraghamone. Parents Robert Doherty and Laurance Patton. They later emigrated to Australia but one child Robert Henry born 1879 Curraghamone.
My wife's great grandfather was Bernard Patton born 1829 in Stranorlar to a Daniel Patton. Bernard moved to the US in the 1850s. Not sure if these are related to your Patton family or not.
