FIRST TIME POSTING HERE ,HERE GOES , MY GRANDAD WAS HUGH GUINN AND MY GRANDMOTHER WAS BRIDGET GALLAGHER , THE TOWNLAND WAS MEENMORE IN THE FINTOWN AREA IN DONEGAL MY MOTHER IS THE YOUNGEST OF A FAMILY OF 12. A CENSUS RETURNS LISTS MY GRANDAD AS BEING BORN IN SCOTLAND AS YET I HAVE NO OFFICIAL CONFIRMATION ON THIS , BUT I WOULD BE GRATEFUL IF ANYONE OUT THERE HAS MY GRANDAD,S FAMILY LISTED IN MAYBE THEIR OWN FAMILY TREE THE FACT THAT MY GRANDMOTHER DIED IN CHILDBIRTH WHEN MY MOTHER WAS BORN WOULD MAYBE SUGGEST THERE MAY HAVE BEEN NEWSPAPER REPORTS OF THIS TRAGIC EVENT THE YEAR BEING 1915 ON THE 19 OF DECEMBER IF ANYONE OUT THERE WOULD KNOW OF WHAT NEWSPAPERS WOULD HAVE BEEN IN USE IN THE AREA AT THE TIME MAYBE YOU COULD LET ME KNOW WORTH A SHOT THANKS A MILLION BERNIE

I know you posted this in 2006, maybe you are still active on this site ?
My great great grandfather was John burns ( donegal on his marriage cert) and on his scottish marriage certificate in 1864 he married Elizabeth Meriner. John's mother and father were John Burns and Helen Gallagher ( I sssume Donegal as well ).
