I am interested in finding some Irish relations who settled in the town of Bangor.
Thomas Irvine McCartney is my mother's uncle. His sister Violet married my grandfather Robert Millen and lived in Port Glasgow, west coast of Scotland.
Irvine and wife Myrtle Turtle, settled in Bangor and had 2 children: Brenda and Thomas.
Any information would be most welcome.

Hi, Thomas Irvine McCartney (Tommy), was my father. He married my mother, Myrtle, on 28th February 1953, and I was born in January 1954. I have a sister, Brenda, and we both still live in Bangor, Co. Down. I remember as a child visiting my Aunt Violet and Uncle Robert in Port Glasgow, and they visited us in Bangor on several occasions as well.
