i have a great great nan whos maiden name was honarah callaghan and she married james forde they had about 5 daughters mary,julia,elizabeth,margaret and frances do you know if these are related to you i am finding it hard to go back past these
I am looking for any information regarding the descendants of Owen Callaghan, b. ca. 1770s (guess). Owen had four sons: Thomas, Luke, Richard and James. Thomas - my line, m. Elizabeth Meyer. They had 7 children: Thomas S., Alicia, Lucinda (Lucy), Richard, Patrick H., Joseph and Elizabeth. Patrick H. (my gr-grandfather), Richard, Lucy, and Elizabeth emigrated to the USA. Alicia m. a man surnamed Leonard in Dublin. I would appreciated and info on any of these.
thanks to you all who replied. all i know about my grandfather. is that he was married to ellen macgrath.1916. his name was edward callaghan. he was born 1896 i think in dublin. my great grandfather was named thomas callaghan.
i am still waiting for my grandfathers birth certificate from gro roscommon, so i might have somr idea where he was born.
