I am searching for information about DANIEL HUGHES, born c1816 Dublin, occ Brush Maker. He was married to MARYANN PARKER born c1816 and they had four children; Francis Patrick b.1838, Agnes b.1840, John b.1843 and Daniel b. 1847. I cannot find a marriage regn for them but assume they wer married in Dublin prior to 1838. However, all the children were born in Salford, Manchester, England.
I don't know when Daniel and Mary Ann arrived in England but it was clearly before 1839 because they were living at No. 2 Booth Street, Regent Road, Salford, Lancaster, in November 1838 when their oldest son Francis Patrick Hughes was born.
The surname Hughes is a very hard one to trace but it is worth asking if any of the above rings any bells with anyone? Please let me know if my Daniel connects to your family or you have any further information about Mary Ann or the children. Many thanks for your kind help.
