Moses Perkins
I am trying to find information about Moses Perkins. All I know is that he was born about 1810 in or around Dublin and was a farmer. His daughter Maria Perkins went to Liverpool - not sure if he went with her or not. I dont know anything else about the family. Anyone have any ideas??
Many thanks

Re: Moses Perkins
There is a Moses
Perkins in the Tithe Applotments books for 1826.moses was living in the town land of Thomastown, which is now part Sallynoggin Dunlaoghaire,(kingstown) Co Dublin.Moses was taxed on 2 roods,a garden i suppose, as were most of his neighibours, the sum was( 1 shilling and 11 pence one farthing.)he probably lived in one of a row of cottages. In the 1960 there were a few rose covered cottages left on the east side of Sallynoggin road, but have since been demolished. There is a death of a Moses Jenkins in 1841 in Kingstown. There is at that time 1826 a James and a Thomas Jenkins, living in the Kingstown area. Was Moses married to a Elizabeth Dunbar? yours Thomas
