Regarding Philip Gilmore, since a 2006 entry,I have learned he was born in Co. Antrim in 1863-1865, living in the parish of Seagoe with his parents John and Elizabeth Gilmore, close to Portadown in Co. Armagh until about 1890 when he settled in Co. Dublin. He became a prominent accountant and married Fanny Angus in 1895. Their six children: William (Jack), George, Nora, Charlie, Philip Henry (Harry) and Dorothy were all born in Howth from 1896 to 1906. From 1895 to 1941 the family lived in Howth, Clontarf, Black Rock, Rathfarnham and Dundrum. His wife Fanny who died in 1941 and all their children except William are buried in St. Fintan's cemetery in Sutton, Co. Dublin. Philip was alive in 1941 but I still do not know when he died and where he is buried. Thank you. Rosalie
