Hello, I know that this is being posted quite a while after the last post,so i'm aware it may not be seen immediately.

I am trying to trace one of my great grandfathers who was an Anthony Flaherty. I am descended from his daughter Maria aka Mary born in 1832. She left Ireland and settled in Wigan, Lancashire, England around 1850. She married John Dunne in Wigan, at St Marys RC Chapel in 1852. Although her parents are named on her marriage record, her place of origin is not. Her father was Anthony and her mother Mary.

Part of what has pointed me in this direction, is from the 1851 census for Lettermore, with a Patrick Flaherty son of Anthony and Mary.

My query is a)Was your Anthony married to a Mary; and if so b)did Ann Nora and Sean have an older sister Mary/Maria?

My grandmother was Anne O'FLAHERTY FLAHERTY who lived in the Dinish island Galway Ireland.

I know very little about her and only just started to research my family history. She moved to Liverpool around 1935 to 1940ish. She married a man named James Holden and they had two children a son William John Holden (my father) and a younger daughter Angela.

Have you uncovered anything further? Would love to hear from you.

Trying to make the connection with the Loftus and Lee family to the Donahue/Donohue's from Maureen Pier.

John Donohue married to Mary Mullen, daughter of Margaret Lee and John Mullen.

John Donohue came to the U.S. and lived in Anaconda, Montana, Chicago, Illinois and Boston, Massachusetts. In Boston, John, his wife Elizabeth Dunlap/Delap and their sons, Robert and Thomas lived near Martin Loftus and Redmond or Reddy Loftus. I have several pictures from Elizabeth with Reddy and her boys with Reddy. Martin and Reddy are sons of Penelope Lee and Thomas Conneelly.

Now Robert Donohue died in Boston in 1927 and is buried at New Calvary Cemetery. Buried in the plot next to Robert is Martin Loftus. My grandmother remembers that they got a phone call in 1971 asking for permission to have the spot for burial for his cousin who just died.

Now, I have Conneelly relatives that I've connected to on the Rosmuc side of my family but not the Donahue/Donohue side. The Lee side I am trying to connect to Margaret Lee but have had no luck finding parents. I have Ancestry DNA my name is thekid186 and Gedmatch as A078763. My Mother's Gedmatch is A839666. Now my Mother is a Donahue (Tom, John, John Donohue) her mother's side is a Coyne from Rosmuc and Coyne from Cornamona.

Would love help in nailing this elusive link down!!
