I need advise on how to understand the 2 different recordings of a marriage, and if possible how to obtain further details.
IGI 1838 Marriage of John Burkitt to Catherine Booker Colley Diocese of Ossry, Leinster Province.
From the "Irish genealogy" website
1838 Marriage John Burkitt to Catherine Colley details at Co. Wexford Heritage & Genealogical Society.
I was not sure that the Diocese of Ossry included Wexford? Would this be a Catholic marriage?
