I am looking for information on John Grogan (1815-1897) who emigrated to US about 1852. He was born in Lisdowney, Kilkenny and married Mary Buggy who died before 1850. They had 2 daughters, Julia and Bridget. He then married Bridget Dempsey and they came to Rome NY about 1852 with an infant son, the two daughters and possibly John's mother Bridget. He was a tailor by trade. Four more sons were born in the US.
