Any info on John Ahearn, married to Margaret O'grady (Mary) who were born in Abbeyfeale but lived in New York CIty? John died in 1882. Thanks.

Do not know much about Ireland but my ancestor said he was born in Peterswell Galway in 1820 but cannot find anything about the place does it really exist?????He was John Noone his mother was Rosanna Sheehan(any relation) and father Michael need help badly from the other side of the world.
I have just looked on Google Earth and have found Peterswell just off the N66 road. At least you know that it does exist
